We are Celebrating Britain's Industrial Heritage by

Building Bicycles

Ironbridge Bicycles are a tribute to Britain's industrial heritage, with a handbuilt British frame its core that lays true testament to the master craftsmanship of the British isles.

Awarded The Cyclist Magazine Choice
at Bespoked 2017

"Ironbridge... the bikes are exceptionally well crafted, but it's the Ironbridge ethos that resonated with Cyclist: take decades worth of frame building know how from the guys at Swallow, distill it into a range of beautifully designed frames and share the task of manufacturing around independent UK frame builders.
The long term benefit for the local handmade bicycle industry could be huge, and the rider-consumer will reap the rewards. Just look at that brake bridge."

Lugged frame

A classic lugged frame with wrap around top-eyes brings back the elegance of the hey-day of British frame building.

Post Second World War, through the bike boom of the '50s tapering off in the 1960s and then the late 1970 and early 80s boom to taper off again in the late 80s and almost dying off in the 1990s, lugged steel frames ruled! More grand Tours and classic races have been won on steel frames than any other material.
